OnePlus Watch 3 ECG Not Working
If ECG isn't working on your OnePlus Watch 3, follow this troubleshooting guide.
Check Regional Availability
ECG available in:
- USA (FDA approved), EU (CE marked), UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong
If not available: ECG cannot be enabled (software locked by region).
No ECG App Found
- Update watch software:

ECG Always Shows "Inconclusive"
Check Your Technique:
- Sit down: Arm resting on table at heart level
- Watch snug: Tight enough not to move, not too tight
- Finger on crown: Medium pressure, steady contact
- Stay still: No talking or moving for 60 seconds
Environmental Fixes:
- Room temperature (not too cold)
- Not immediately after exercise
- Avoid caffeine 2 hours before
- Well hydrated (dry skin affects reading)
ECG Crashes or Freezes
- Restart watch: Hold crown 10 seconds
- Update software: Install latest updates

ECG Limitations
ECG is a 60-second snapshot, not continuous monitoring. If you feel irregular heartbeat, take reading during symptoms and consult a doctor regardless of watch result.
