Which Devices Support WearOS 6?

WearOS 6 is available on select premium smartwatches with sufficient hardware capabilities and manufacturer support for the latest platform features.


Currently Supported

  • Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 (40mm, 44mm): Launched with WearOS 6 and One UI 8 Watch in July 2025.

  • Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic (42mm, 46mm): Full feature support including rotating bezel integration.

  • Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Ultra (47mm): Complete WearOS 6 implementation with titanium construction.


Expected to Launch with WearOS 6

  • Google Pixel Watch 4: Expected Q4 2025 with pure WearOS 6 and deep Google integration.

Update Status for Existing Devices

No existing WearOS devices have confirmed WearOS 6 updates at this time. Previous generation watches including Galaxy Watch 7, Pixel Watch 3, and OnePlus Watch 3 currently run WearOS 5. Any future update announcements will depend on manufacturer decisions and hardware capabilities.


Hardware Requirements

  • RAM: Minimum 2GB RAM for full feature support.

  • Storage: At least 32GB internal storage recommended.

  • Processor: Modern Snapdragon W5+ or Exynos W1000 series required.

  • Sensors: Advanced health sensors needed for full health feature integration.


Excluded Devices

Older watches including Galaxy Watch 4/5, Fossil Gen 6, TicWatch Pro series, and other legacy WearOS devices lack sufficient hardware for WearOS 6.
