When Will My Watch Get WearOS 6?

WearOS 6 deployment follows a manufacturer-specific timeline with newer devices receiving updates first, followed by gradual rollout to compatible older models. Check below for your device.


Current Status (2025)

  • Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Series: Launched with WearOS 6 pre-installed in July 2025.

  • Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic: Full WearOS 6 support with rotating bezel integration.

  • Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Ultra: Complete WearOS 6 implementation with titanium construction.


Expected Launches with WearOS 6

  • Google Pixel Watch 4: Expected Q4 2025 as the first Pixel Watch with WearOS 6.

No Confirmed Updates for Existing Devices

No existing WearOS devices have confirmed WearOS 6 update plans at this time:

  • Galaxy Watch 7/Ultra: Currently running WearOS 5 - no update announced.

  • Pixel Watch 3/2: Currently running WearOS 5 - no update announced.

  • OnePlus Watch 3/2: Currently running WearOS 5 - no update announced.
