OnePlus Watch 2 Not Pairing

If your OnePlus Watch 2 won't pair with your Android phone, follow these troubleshooting steps.


Quick Fixes

  1. Check requirements: Android 8.1+ required
  2. Restart both devices: Watch and phone
  3. Forget previous pairings: Remove all "OnePlus Watch" entries from Bluetooth settings
  4. Reinstall app: Uninstall and reinstall OnePlus Health

Required App Permissions

Grant all permissions to OnePlus Health:

  1. Settings Apps OnePlus Health Permissions
  2. Allow: Location, Bluetooth, Notifications, Phone, Contacts, Storage
  3. Battery: Set to "Unrestricted"
  4. Background data: Enabled

Bluetooth Troubleshooting

  • Enable Bluetooth: Settings Bluetooth On
  • Enable Location: Required for Bluetooth scanning

Factory Reset Watch

  3. Watch returns to pairing screen
