How to Use Power Saver Mode on OnePlus Watch 2

Power Saver Mode on the OnePlus Watch 2 uses the efficient BES2700 co-processor to deliver up to 12 days battery life while maintaining essential smartwatch functions.


Enable Power Saver Mode

Quick method:

  1. Swipe down from the watch face
  2. Tap the Power Saver tile
  3. Confirm when prompted

Through settings:

  1. Open Settings Battery Battery mode
  2. Select Power Saver Mode
  3. Tap Enable

Available Features

  • Time and Date: Always displayed
  • Step Counting: Continuous tracking
  • Heart Rate: Manual measurements only
  • Notifications: View-only (no replies)
  • Alarms/Timers: Full functionality
  • Basic Workouts: Core modes available

Disabled Features

  • Third-Party Apps: All WearOS apps unavailable
  • Google Services: No Google Assistant or Google Pay
  • Music Playback: Cannot play or stream
  • Continuous Health: No 24/7 monitoring
  • Rich Notifications: No interactive responses

Maximize Battery Life

  • Disable Always-On Display: Settings Display Always-On Display Off
  • Lower Brightness: Set to 30-50%
  • Limit Wake Gestures: Disable tilt-to-wake
  • Reduce Notifications: Keep only essential apps

Automatic Activation

Set Power Saver to enable automatically:

  1. Open Settings Battery
  2. Enable Battery Saver
