How to Use Sleep Coaching on Galaxy Watch 6

The Galaxy Watch 6 introduces advanced sleep coaching with Sleep Animal profiles, personalized insights, and detailed sleep stage analysis.


Enable Sleep Tracking

On phone:

  1. Open Samsung Health
  2. Tap Sleep tile
  3. Tap menu Settings
  4. Enable Track sleep automatically
  5. Set your sleep schedule

On watch: Settings Apps Samsung Health Sleep

  • Enable Detect sleep automatically
  • Enable Measure blood oxygen during sleep

Sleep Animal Profiles

After 14 days of sleep data, Watch 6 assigns you one of 8 Sleep Animals:

  • Each represents unique sleep characteristics
  • Provides personalized tips for your sleep type
  • Updates as your patterns change

Sleep Score (0-100)

Your nightly score factors in:

  • Total sleep duration
  • Sleep stages (light, deep, REM)
  • Sleep consistency
  • Blood oxygen levels
  • Heart rate variability

Interpretation: 90-100 excellent, 80-89 good, 70-79 fair, below 70 needs improvement.
