How to Connect Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 to Phone

The Galaxy Watch 6 connects to Android phones via Bluetooth using the Galaxy Wearable app.


Requirements

  • Android 8.0 or higher
  • At least 1.5GB RAM
  • Galaxy Wearable app from Google Play Store
  • Bluetooth enabled

Pairing Steps

1. Prepare Watch:

  • Charge to at least 30%
  • Turn on by holding Home button
  • Select language

2. Install App:

  • Download Galaxy Wearable from Play Store
  • Open and accept permissions

3. Pair Devices:

  1. In app, tap Start
  2. Select Galaxy Watch 6 from device list
  3. Confirm pairing code matches on both devices
  4. Tap OK on both

4. Complete Setup:

  1. Sign in to Samsung Account
  2. Grant permissions (health, notifications)
  3. Choose notification apps
  4. Done!
