- Verify Bluetooth is on — Phone Settings Bluetooth ensure ON
- Move closer — Keep devices within 3 feet during pairing

Location Services Required
Bluetooth device discovery on Android requires Location services to be enabled. Go to Phone Settings Location ensure ON. This is an Android requirement, not optional.
Connection Drops During Setup
- Charge both devices — Low battery can interrupt pairing
- Stay within range — Don't walk away during the process
- Disable battery optimization for Galaxy Wearable: Phone Settings Apps Galaxy Wearable Battery Unrestricted
- Ensure phone isn't installing updates — Wait for phone updates to complete first
Phone-Specific Issues
- Pixel phones: Update to latest Pixel software, disable Nearby Share temporarily, grant all location permissions
- Non-Samsung phones: May need to install Galaxy Watch Plugin from Play Store manually
- Older phones: Verify Android 10+ and 1.5GB+ RAM
