How to Use Sleep Coaching on Galaxy Watch 6 Classic

The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic includes advanced sleep coaching that tracks your sleep, assigns you a "Sleep Animal" profile, and provides personalized guidance to improve sleep quality.

Setting Up Sleep Tracking

On Watch: Open Samsung Health tap Sleep enable Track sleep

Optional features: Blood oxygen during sleep, snoring detection, smart alarm

Wear the watch: Snug but comfortable, above wrist bone, display facing up.

Samsung assigns you one of eight Sleep Animals based on your patterns:

Sleep Features

  • Smart Alarm: Wakes you during light sleep within a set window for gentler awakening. Settings Sleep Smart alarm

  • Bedtime Reminders: Watch alerts when it's time for bed. Configure in Samsung Health Sleep Settings

  • Sleep Mode: Auto-enables Do Not Disturb at bedtime. Settings Modes and Routines Sleep mode

On Watch: Samsung Health Sleep shows last night's summary

On Phone (more detailed): Samsung Health app shows daily, weekly, and monthly trends with detailed sleep stage charts
