How to Pair Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic with Phone
Pairing your Galaxy Watch 6 Classic with your Android phone unlocks all smartwatch features. The process takes about 5 minutes using the Galaxy Wearable app.
Before You Begin

Pairing Steps
Step 1: Power on your watch by pressing and holding the Home button. New watches automatically enter pairing mode.
Step 2: Open Galaxy Wearable on your phone, tap Start, and grant requested permissions (Location, Bluetooth, Phone, Contacts, Notifications).
Step 3: Select Galaxy Watch 6 Classic when it appears in the list.
Step 4: Verify the 6-digit pairing code matches on both devices, then tap Confirm on both.
Step 5: Sign in to your Samsung and Google accounts when prompted.
Step 6: Wait for initial sync (2-5 minutes). Follow on-screen prompts to configure settings.
First Things After Pairing
Update software immediately: Settings Software update. Then configure notifications in Galaxy Wearable and customize your watch face.
Samsung vs Non-Samsung Phones
With Samsung Galaxy phones: Full feature access including Samsung Pay, SmartThings, Find My Mobile, camera controls, and Samsung Notes sync.
With other Android phones: Core features work fully. Use Google Wallet instead of Samsung Pay. Some Samsung-specific integrations unavailable.
Troubleshooting
